AGRICOLA (AGRItech COmmunity for Learninig and Application) Laboratory
The AGRICOLA Laboratory promotes innovation and sustainability in the Mediterranean agri-food sector by enhancing production and logistics efficiency through Industry 4.0 technologies and the Internet of Things. It fosters collaboration among companies, research institutions, and technological clusters, develops digital tools for smart food management and the valorization of by-products, and supports the creation of integrated local supply chains oriented toward quality and rural development. In addition, the laboratory carries out training, outreach, and SME support activities, promoting responsible agricultural production and more conscious consumption.
