Schools
The University Schools are coordination structures for the educational activities carried out in bachelor's degree programs, master's degree programs, and specialization schools; they are also responsible for managing related services. Each School consists of two or more Departments.
The governing bodies of the School are the Council, the President, and the Faculty-Student Joint Committee.
The School Council is composed of:
- the Directors of the Departments affiliated with the School;
- a representation of professors and researchers not exceeding 10% of the members of the Department Councils affiliated with the School, selected from the members of the Department Boards, course coordinators, doctoral coordinators, and Managers of support activities within the structure. The Regolamento Generale di Ateneo defines the selection methods and the composition of the representation in the Council based on proportionality in the contribution to the School's educational offerings from the scientific-disciplinary areas of each Department. In any case, only professors who carry out their teaching duties in the programs coordinated by the School may be part of the Council.
- an elected student representation corresponding to 15% of the total number of faculty members referred to in letter b), according to the procedures established in the University Schools Regulations.
