MDM Lab - Mechatronics and Dynamic Modelling Laboratory

The Mechatronics and Dynamic Modelling Laboratory (MDM Lab) is a research group led by Professors Benedetto Allotta, Andrea Rindi, Enrico Meli, and Alessandro Ridolfi. Comprising over twenty members, the lab focuses on research and development in robotics, railway engineering, and rotordynamics, addressing topics such as mechatronic system modeling, simulation, vehicle dynamics, and multi-physics analysis. MDM Lab actively collaborates with industry and participates in national and international research projects, while also offering students opportunities for theses and experimental work at its facilities in Florence and Pistoia.
