The Department of Industrial Engineering offers four second-cycle (master's) degree programmes, focusing on the main areas of industrial engineering and providing students with specialised skills.
Corso di Laurea Magistrale in Ingegneria Meccanica (MEM)
The Master's Degree Programme provides students with advanced professional skills, enabling them to independently develop product, process and production system innovation projects, both in the industrial and service sectors, through specific study tracks (design, machinery, production technologies, and land vehicles).
Corso di Laurea Magistrale in Ingegneria Energetica (ENM)
The Master's Degree Programme provides students with advanced professional skills, enabling them to independently develop product innovation projects in specific fields, such as energy systems and the design of machinery for energy conversion and propulsion systems.
Corso di Laurea Magistrale in Management Engineering (MME)
The Master's Degree Programme in Management Engineering trains highly qualified professionals with a strong command of statistical, analytical and numerical methods, as well as well-developed technical and scientific, economic and organisational skills.
Corso di Laurea Magistrale in Mechanical Engineering for Sustainability (MES)
The Master's Degree Programme in Mechanical Engineering for Sustainability aims to train mechanical engineers with specialised expertise in various disciplines related to sustainability, supporting the social and industrial transition towards more sustainable lifestyles, production systems and organisational models. The MSc programme offers three curricula in the areas of design, energy technologies and mobility.
MES and MME are delivered in blended mode (on-campus/online) and are offered entirely in English, while MEM and ENM include specific courses taught in English (courses offered in both Italian and English). The MME programme also offers an “International” curriculum which, under an international mobility agreement with Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU) and Técnico Lisboa, leads to a double degree (Italian and Swiss or Portuguese).
Finally, from the 2024/2025 academic year, MEM, ENM and MME each offer an honours programme (Honours Programmes) based on an agreement with Nuovo Pignone International Srl (Baker Hughes).
