Vision

The Department’s development prospects are founded on its strengths: an educational offering aligned with labor market needs, a faculty with a high level of scientific qualification, and a consolidated capacity for scientific and technological project development. These elements define the Department’s identity and reinforce its strategic and active role within the productive and industrial system at the local, national, and international levels. Particular emphasis is placed on applied research, technology transfer, and innovation, along with initiatives that strengthen the connection between education and industry, such as the curricular internships recently introduced in the bachelor’s programs and the creation of new laboratory spaces.
