Fausto Caldini is a PhD candidate in Industrial Engineering at the University of Florence, researching advanced manufacturing technologies. He earned his Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with honors in 2025, with a thesis focused on chatter detection and suppression in milling operations. Currently, he conducts research at the Manufacturing and Technology Research Laboratory (MTRL), applying signal analysis and process simulation techniques to optimize machining dynamics and overall manufacturing efficiency.
