Giuseppe Venturini graduated from the University of Florence in October 2014 and earned a PhD in Industrial Engineering from the same university in 2019. He is a mechanical engineer with expertise in CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) for Direct Energy Deposition additive manufacturing technologies, for both metallic and polymeric materials. His research activity focuses on the development and implementation of algorithms aimed at improving the generation and performance of toolpaths for deposition, repair, and milling processes. Since 2015, he has collaborated with the Manufacturing Technology Research Laboratory (MTRL) of the Department of Industrial Engineering at the University of Florence, where he currently holds the position of adjunct professor. Between 2017 and 2025, he was involved in the development of the innovative startup VenturaPLUS, dedicated to the creation of software applications for the generation of deposition paths for 3- and 5-axis additive and hybrid machines. He is currently focused on the development of high-performance algorithms for automation, implementing software applications primarily in the field of research and development.
